Wanted: Ike Davis
By: Brendan BilkoThe NYPD is currently searching a man suspected of murdering a 3-2 fastball on the evening of April 23rd. The ball was found dead on the Shea Bridge at around 8:40pm by a number of onlookers. He was brutally hit with witnesses described as a “nasty swing bro!” Forensics teams believe the ball died upon impact, and not after landing 450+ feet from the act itself.
Ike Davis has been identified as the assailant. He is described as a 23 years old Caucasian male, 6’4” and 215 lbs. He currently plays first base for the New York Metropolitans, and has a .460 wOBA in his first five games.
Authorities say Davis should be considered armed and dangerous.
